Biography:
Gina Andrade is the current Policy Director at LANF. She is an Afro-Latina born and raised in South America and obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Monmouth University and her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology at Jersey City University. With 15+ years of experience working as a Childhood Development Associate at an early-childhood center, she then moved on to the role of a Site Manager and Summer Camp director for the Youth Advocate Program and Summer Soccer Camp in New Brunswick. Gina Andrade's love for social work and culture shows through her internship experience in Guatemala for three months and backpacking in South East Asia and Central America. Where she has discovered her passion for working with communities on local, state, and international levels. Gina Andrade states that working on agencies like LANF is a way to give back to ensure accessibility and sustainability to communities.
