NJ Voices Call for Greater Access to Mental Health Services for Latinos

Introduction The Latino Action Network Foundation convened a virtual roundtable on July 22 and July 23, 2021. The purpose was to inform policy makers, from a Latinx stakeholder perspective, about the individual and systemic challenges to access of services for the Latino community of NJ, and to offer recommendations for advancing quality mental health services. More than 20 participants attended the virtual roundtable and contributed to the recommendations. This report is co-authored by Elsa Candelario, MSSW, LCSW & Henry Acosta, MA, MSW. We would like to thank the Fund for NJ for their continued support of our policy to action work.
