About the event

Join us for a late afternoon of conversation, historical exploration, and food and refreshments as editors Aldo Lauria Santiago and Ulla Berg discuss their groundbreaking work on the thriving Latino communities of New Jersey. The wide-ranging conversation will go from immigrant stories to struggles for political empowerment and cultural acceptance, the struggles of farm workers to political and economic refugees. Latino communities have transformed our state and our university.
