Our Story

The Latino Action Network Foundation (LANF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equity through education, research, and leadership development. We strengthen the civic and educational foundation that allows Latino and other underrepresented communities in New Jersey to participate fully in public life. We equip individuals and organizations to build knowledge and efficiency across housing, education, health, and justice.

LANF is a nonpartisan organization. We do not support or oppose any political party or candidate. Our focus is on building informed communities through education and civic awareness.

LANF works in partnership with, but operates independently from, the Latino Action Network (LAN), a 501(c)(4) social-welfare organization focused on legislative and policy advocacy.

MISSION

LANF is organized to research the issues impacting Latino communities in New Jersey, develop policy proposals to address those issues, and conduct outreach among underrepresented communities, including low-income and immigrant communities.

VISION

Uniting New Jersey’s diverse communities. A just and equitable New Jersey where all communities are informed, included, and visible in every system that shapes opportunity.
