About the program

The NJDOL CARES Program is funded through the Cultivating Access, Rights & Equity (CARE) Grant Program, awarded to the Latino Action Network Foundation by the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development. The program works to increase New Jersey workers' awareness of, and equitable access to, key protections and benefits.

LANF partners with trusted community organizations across the state to deliver outreach and education on Earned Sick Leave and related work rights, NJ Paid Family and Medical Leave benefits, and — expanded in FY25 — the Domestic Workers' Bill of Rights.
